Melrose was recently listed as one of the hottest neighborhoods in 2019. There are currently 1,902 residential apartments undergoing construction for around $1,500 a month. Maxine, a 48 year old elephant, was euthanized at the Bronx Zoo after suffering from neurological deterioration and generalized muscle weakness.
