90-Year-Old Bronx Woman Turns Bread Into Art

The New York Public Library’s Allerton branch on Barnes Avenue in the Bronx is currently exhibiting sculptures from the amazing Marion Hughes, a 90-year-old Bronx artist who has found a new way to use bread. She uses the dough to create whimsical creatures from frogs to butterflies as well as jewelry. You have to see it to believe it.
